Video Digest on results of Prime Minister Askar Mamin’s working trip to the Karaganda region

July 24, 2019, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin went to the Karaganda region with a working trip, where he participated in the opening ceremony of a plant for the production of ferroalloys, visited several mining and processing enterprises.

  • At the opening ceremony of the ferroalloy plant of YDD Corporation LLP, the head of the Government noted the importance of a high-tech enterprise for the further socio-economic development of the region.
  • During a visit to Sary-Arka Copper Processing LLP, Mamin was informed about the use of innovative technologies for the processing of copper ore to reduce environmental damage.
  • The prime minister visited the enterprise for the production of cathode copper, processing and enrichment of lead-silver ore from the Alaigyr deposit.
  • The head of Government familiarized himself with the living conditions of the employees of the Altai Polymetals enterprise. Here, Askar Mamin was also informed about the current situation associated with the flooding of the Kokpekti – Karagaily section of the Karasor lake (Saumalkol-Burkitti station).
