Government considers progress in implementation of Nation's Plan "100 Concrete Steps''

At the selector session of the National Commission on Modernization chaired by the Prime Minister Askar Mamin with the participation of the Chair of the Majilis of the Parliament Nurlan Nigmatullin, results of the work for 2020 on the implementation of the Plan of the Nation "100 Concrete Steps to Implement Five Institutional Reforms of the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev’’ were summed up.

Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov, Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubayev, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Culture and Sports Aktoty Raimkulova, Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Healthcare Alexey Tsoy, Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva and other responsible persons reported on their work.

As of today, 71 steps out of 100 steps of the Nation Plan have been implemented, including 9 steps this year.

“The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, in his Address of Sep. 1, 2020, noted the need to give a serious impetus to the reforms of the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev within the framework of the Plan of the Nation and Five Institutional Reforms. This year significant work has been carried out and good results have been achieved,” Mamin said.

The prime minister instructed to continue active work on the full and high-quality implementation of the Plan of the Nation. Particular attention was paid to the points on increasing the volume of attracting investments, first of all, in new large projects in priority sectors of the economy, ensuring the creation of new jobs.

The meeting approved the Work Plan of the National Commission for 2021, which provides for the implementation of 10 steps of the Nation Plan next year in the areas of "Formation of a professional state apparatus" and "Industrialization and economic growth".
