Kanat Iskakov appointed chair of Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan

By order of the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Iskakov was appointed chair of the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kanat Iskakov was born in 1982 in Shymkent. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He began his career in 2005 as a leading specialist of the State Fund for the Development of Youth Policy.

In 2006-2009, he was acting chief specialist; chief specialist; expert of the Department of Social and Political Work of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From February to November 2009, he was an assistant to the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2009-2011, he was Consultant to the Secretariat of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2011-2012, he was expert; Consultant of the Center for Strategic Development and Analysis of the President’s Administration.

From May 2012, he has been Head of the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
