Gabidulla Abdrakhimov appointed vice minister of culture and sports of Kazakhstan

By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gabidulla Abdrakhimov was appointed vice minister of culture and sports of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Gabidulla Abdrakhimov was born in 1975 in the South Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University, studied at the German Higher School of Public Administration under the Bolashak program, he holds Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

He began his career in 1996 as a trainee teacher at the Kazakh State Agrarian University.

From 1999 to 2008, he held various positions in the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2008-2012, he was head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2012-2013, he was chair of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Protection of Competition.

In 2013-2015, he was deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2015-2017, he was akim of Shymkent.

In 2017-2018, he was secretary of the Nur-Otan party.

In 2018-2019, he was akim of Shymkent.

From November 2019, he has been advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
