Akhmetzhan Primkulov appointed vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the Government, Akhmetzhan Primkulov was appointed vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Akhmetzhan Primkulov was born in 1979 in the Zhambyl region.

In 2000, he graduated from Taraz State University named after Dulati with a degree in economics, in 2003 — Kazakh Humanitarian Law University with a degree in law. He has a degree of candidate of legal sciences.

He began his career in 2001 as a specialist in the Prosecutor's Office of the Zhambyl region, he worked in the judicial system.

In 2012–2016, he served as deputy chairman of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan, deputy chairman of the Committee for Environmental Regulation, Control and State Inspection in the Oil and Gas Complex of the Ministry of Energy.

From June 2016 to November 2017, he worked as chairman of the Committee for the Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science.

From November 2017, he has served as chairman of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
